From start to finish, Sara Jones was creative, efficient, and very organized in
preparing for and running our May 2007 two-day, entire house, moving sale. She is
extremely knowledgeable about pricing and advertising and very successfully sold
our large house full of a wide variety of items, from furniture to small appliances and
knick-knacks, to dishes and bedding, art and collectibles. She was kind as she
helped our family sift through 14 years of often sentimental accumulation, and,

Sara Jones is fabulous. I was overwhelmed with clearing out my parents’ two homes
after their death. My mother passed away this past summer --- my father three years
ago. I was exhausted from traveling back and forth from my home in Philadelphia to their
Manhattan apartment. It was filled with memories, furniture and “stuff.” Just when I was
almost finished with emptying out that apartment, it was time to fly down to Florida and
empty my parents’ condo on Longboat Key. It is so difficult because at every turn is
another memory. I spent two days throwing things away and putting some items aside
to be sent up north to me or to my brother. How could I sell all the furniture and
accomplish this in one week? I would have to return again in a month or so to complete
the task. Or so I thought --- until I discovered Sara Jones! She was a life-saver!!!
Meeting Sara was just wonderful. She was very thoughtful and I could tell she was also
very thorough and knowledgeable. With Sara’s assistance I would not need to return to
Florida and to the apartment where I would have to face the painful memories again of
the loss of my parents. I was able to fly back to Philadelphia knowing that Sara would
take care of the rest. She organized all the remaining items --- whether for sale or
donation or to be sent north to me. Sara can handle any situation. I highly recommend
her for anyone who has to deal with liquidating an estate or emptying a condo or just
plain organizing their life

I phoned A Professional Organizer after many remodeling projects had left my home
in complete disarray. Sara Was so understanding and nonjudgmental I was
completely comfortable letting her see the extent of the upheaval. She was
consistently reassuring that we could complete the task of reorganizing and making
a place for everything. She worked with me for ten hours total. In that time we
organized two bathrooms a bedroom and a living room. She helped me to realize it
was possible to bring the garage and kitchen back into order too. Also how to tackle
a big mess one step at a time. I now feel I can do the kitchen and garage in an
efficient way. If I find I can't I know who to call!

We wanted to thank you for all that you've done to rid this house of the clutter
and get every thing ready for the estate sale! It is so nice to know that the
house is in your capable hands while we are so far away. All that you have
done has made a difficult and sad time much easier. You're a wonderful

When my mom passed away, my wife and I hired Sara Jones to sell the items in
her estate and to prepare the house for sale. During a difficult time, it was such a
relief to find someone as knowledgeable and professional as Sara, especially
since we live across the country. Sara truly went above and beyond the call of duty.
Sara did sell all of the things that my mother had accumulated over her lifetime
(and my mother was a pack rat, to put it mildly)! We were incredibly pleased with
the results; even during an economic downturn, we felt that Sara was able to get
fair prices for the items. We were amazed with the amount of methods Sara used
to make sure that we got the best results. She sold hundreds of collectible and
valuable items on Ebay, and held an estate sale. She took jewelry and furniture to
local retailers to make sure that each item sold for its worth. She worked with
appraisers and Art Galleries to determine values and sell the artwork.
In addition to clearing the house of valuables Sara also sorted through years of
paperwork, deciding on what was pertinent and what was obsolete. She arranged
for a moving company to send us the furniture we wanted in Phoenix and packed
the paperwork along with that and many pieces of art work and smaller items we
wanted.
Sara also prepared the house for sale. The house was not in very good condition
and needed extensive maintenance before it was put on the market. She hired
painters, supervised the installation of new carpet, oversaw exterior maintenance,
and hired a cleaning service. By the time everything was finished, it looked like a
new house!
During the entire process, Sara gave us thorough updates on what she was doing,
provided detailed accounting of what had been sold. In addition, Sara is such a
nice person and she was a pleasure to work with. We really don’t know what we
would have done without her. We highly recommend her!

more difficult and trying time without you to completely empty my mother-in-laws house, while saving those family
